The Beginning
March 20, 2009
It has been until today, nearly five years since ECOS was founded and four years since I joined, that we have finally come up with an idea to encourage open and sustained communication within ECOS. In the minds of every ECOS leader are hundreds of racing, chaotic thoughts. These thoughts are continually evolving and cannot ever be pinpointed in four dimensions with 100% confidence (ah, the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle). Yet, defining and communicating these high level ideas will be essential to ECOS’s improvement. Behind the scenes, new directions and relationships are continually being pursued, though the general ECOS body and university community have stayed highly unaware of these progresses and struggles. Now, the veteran leaders of ECOS finally have an outlet to share ideas and inner-workings with the rest of ECOS and all university community members. Three blogs have initially been created: VP of Local Projects, VP of International Projects, and President. This blog is the voice of the ECOS President.
